Affiliate disclosure
This site is free for the reader and charges no subscription. The model that supports it is affiliate advertising, and this page explains how that works here, what it pays for and what it does not buy.
How the site makes money
Affiliate programmes pay the publisher a commission when a reader reaches a platform through an identified link and takes a certain action, such as creating a sign-up. The commission comes out of the advertising company's marketing budget. The reader pays nothing extra for using a link like that: the conditions, fees and processing times are exactly the same as for someone arriving from a search or typing the address straight into the browser.
Where things stand: partner programme active
Bússola do Trader takes part in the Pocket Option partner programme. Buttons and links that go through the /go/ path are affiliate links, marked as sponsored: if someone registers through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to the reader. Every affiliate link is identified by the short notice in the footer of every page, and the rules on this page apply to it in exactly the same way.
What a commission does not buy
- No payment changes a conclusion. There is no assessment written to sell, and no bought placement.
- No advertiser reads our texts before publication, nor holds any right of approval, veto or removal.
- No commission suppresses unfavourable information. A verifiable, relevant fact stays on the page, whoever it discomforts.
- We do not publish ready-made copy sent by third parties and presented as editorial content.
The facts in our guides come from primary sources — the platform's own pages, the app's store listing and the public publications of regulators — and are presented as what they are. Where something could not be confirmed, the text says it could not be confirmed, whether or not there is a commercial relationship in play.
This site is editorial, not a sign-up channel
Pocket Option itself states, on its pages, that it does not provide service to residents of Brazil, and in 2021 the CVM published an alert pointing to the absence of authorisation to take on clients in the country, together with an order suspending public offering whose current force could not be confirmed. Given that, Bússola do Trader does not invite residents of Brazil to open an account on the platform, does not publish step-by-step sign-up instructions aimed at that audience and signs nobody up. Our guides describe how the platform works and what can be verified in a primary source; the decision, if there is one, rests entirely with the reader and on the reader's own responsibility.
Risk
Trading fixed-time contracts and CFDs carries a high risk: it is possible to lose the whole amount invested. Nothing on this site is investment advice, an offer, a promise of return or a guarantee of a result, and no affiliate revenue changes that. Do not put in money you cannot afford to lose.
