This page is the channel for the Bússola do Trader newsroom. We are an independent editorial site about Pocket Broker: we write about the platform, we do not operate it.

Newsroom e-mail: [email protected]. It is the only channel we keep. We have no telephone line, no chat, no messaging group and no walk-in desk, and nobody on our team contacts readers to ask for passwords, documents, verification codes or payments. If you receive a message like that in our name, it is not ours.

What we answer

• corrections: a wrong detail, an out-of-date figure, a broken link, a misattributed quotation;
• questions about something written in one of our guides;
• story suggestions and questions you would like to see answered;
• press enquiries, interview requests and requests to quote our content;
• questions about privacy and data use on this site.

It helps a great deal to include the address of the page and, if it is a correction, the source that supports the right figure. With that we can check and adjust quickly.

What we cannot do

We are not the support desk for Pocket Broker or for Pocket Option, we have no agreement with the operator and we have no access to any system of theirs. So we cannot:

• open, access, unblock or close an account on the platform;
• recover a login, a password or a verification code;
• look up a balance, a trading history or an identity verification status;
• speed up, cancel or trace a deposit or a withdrawal;
• step into a dispute, a complaint, a bonus or an account closure.

Where to take those requests

Anything involving a specific account can only be settled by whoever operates the platform: use the support channels inside the site or the app itself, from the account in question, and keep the reference number. If the matter is authorisation to take on clients in Brazil or a consumer complaint, the public channels of the Brazilian bodies — the CVM, as far as the securities market goes, and the consumer protection bodies — are the route. A message to our newsroom replaces none of those routes and stops no deadline.

How we handle your message

We read everything and reply in the order the messages arrive. Not every message gets an individual reply, but every correction with a source is checked. We do not publish messages, names or e-mail addresses without permission, and we do not pass your contact details on to the platform or to third parties; how data is handled is described in our privacy policy.

One observation about the site's main subject: Pocket Option itself states that it does not provide service to residents of Brazil. That is why we steer nobody towards opening an account, we sign up on no reader's behalf and we have no way of intervening in anything that happens inside the platform.
