Pocket Broker Frequently Asked Questions
Name and platform
The question that generates all the others: Pocket Broker is not a separate broker. It is what the Brazilian public calls Pocket Option, and there is no second company, no second site and no second sign-up.
Is Pocket Broker Pocket Option?
Yes. "Pocket Option" is the brand name, published on the official site and on the Android app listing; "Pocket Broker" is the nickname that arose in everyday use, probably because the word "broker" better describes, for someone arriving from outside, what the platform does. Anyone who searches for one term and finds the other has not come to the wrong place. The full explanation is on the page about Pocket Broker and Pocket Option.
Is there a company called Pocket Broker?
No. No entity of that name appears in any source consulted for this guide. The only confirmable corporate name is Pocket Investments S.R.L., the registered developer of the Android app in the official store. The site's legal pages give an address in Costa Rica, but nowhere do they name the operating entity — an opacity worth knowing about.
The practical consequence: any page, app or profile presenting itself as the company "Pocket Broker" corresponds to nothing verifiable. The name exists in the mouth of the public, not on anybody's register.
What is the official site?
The only official domain identified is pocketoption.com. There is no alternative address under the nickname, and no reason to trust one. Domains with a hyphen, an extra word or a different ending are the most common vector for cloned pages in this category, and typing the address by hand instead of clicking a link in an advertisement, a video or a message removes almost all the risk in one go.
Before any other answer, a fact that changes the framing of everything that follows: the platform states, on its home page, its About Us page and its payment-methods page, that it does not provide service to residents of Brazil.
One platform, two names. There is no company registered as Pocket Broker, there is no alternative site, and the operator states that it does not serve residents of Brazil — the frame around every answer that follows.
App and access
Access happens through four surfaces published on the home page: the Android store, a direct APK, the browser version and a Telegram bot. For the iPhone, no official listing could be confirmed.
How do you get the Android app?
The official app is on Google Play under the package com.pocketoption.broker, with Pocket Investments S.R.L. as the registered developer, a rating suitable for ages 3 and up, more than 5 million recorded downloads and a last update on 21 August 2026. It is the route with the store's automatic checking and automatic updating.
Checking three fields on the listing — the package name, the developer and the date of the last update — settles the question of authenticity in under a minute. The details are on the page about the app for Android and iOS.
Is there an app for the iPhone?
It could not be confirmed. The official site publishes no link to the App Store, and no iOS listing could be verified. Third-party apps with similar names do exist, and that is exactly why this answer stays open rather than being closed in the convenient direction. For anyone using an iPhone, the verifiable surface is the browser version, which the home page publishes.
Where does the APK come from?
Pocket Option's own home page offers a direct download of the APK, alongside the link to the store. That route trades Google Play's automatic checking for a check made by you and gives up automatic updating. Third-party repositories of the apkpure kind are not the official source.
- Android: the official store, or an APK coming from the official home page.
- iPhone: no confirmed listing; the browser is the verifiable route.
- Computer: no official program for Windows or macOS was confirmed; the platform runs in the browser.
- Login: a single sign-up, an email and a password, which opens every surface.
Android has a traceable official listing; the iPhone and the desktop have nothing confirmed, and the browser covers both cases. The official APK comes from the home page, never from a third-party repository.
Payments
The money rules are written into two official documents, and that is where the answers sit: a minimum withdrawal of 10 dollars, withdrawal in the same currency as the deposit and periods published as ranges.
Does it accept Pix?
Pix appears as a banking-type method in the platform's global payments catalogue, alongside Visa, Mastercard, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether, all labelled with 0% commission. But that catalogue is a worldwide list with more than 170 options, with no filter by country, and neither "Brazil", nor "BRL", nor "boleto" appears in it.
In other words: being listed is not the same as being available to someone signing up from Brazil. Whether Pix is actually offered to a Brazilian user could not be confirmed, and the operator's statement that it does not serve residents of the country points the other way. The mechanism is described on the page about withdrawal via Pix.
What is the minimum deposit?
The entry advertised is very low, and the documents themselves diverge: the Public Offer mentions 0.1 dollars as the minimum deposit and the home page presents 5 dollars as the smallest deposit allowed. Since both sources are official and do not coincide, the correct thing is to treat the barrier as low and check the current figure at the source, rather than repeating one number as definitive.
How does withdrawal work?
Three rules appear in writing and always hold.
| Rule | What the documents say |
|---|---|
| Minimum amount | 10 dollars, under the Public Offer |
| Currency | The withdrawal is made in the same currency as the corresponding deposit, under the Payment Policy |
| Verification | Identity and residence proven, within 10 business days from the request, extendable to 30 |
| Period | 3 business days extendable to 14 in the Public Offer; 5 business days in the Payment Policy, with a bank transfer of 3 to 45 |
| Commission | 0% advertised, with the caveat that fees may change at the company's discretion and that providers may charge costs of their own |
Most of the withdrawal complaints in circulation are born in one of those rows: incomplete verification, a method that does not match the deposit, or a bonus accepted earlier with a condition of its own.
Pix is listed in the global catalogue, but availability for someone connecting from Brazil could not be confirmed. The withdrawal has a minimum of 10 dollars, a currency matched to the deposit and periods published as wide ranges.
Trust
The honest answer has layers: the platform exists and is documented, no regulator is named, there is no CVM authorisation, and the operator itself says it does not serve residents of Brazil.
Is it trustworthy?
It depends which question the word is carrying. As an existing, working platform, the signs are good: a site up since 2017, an Android app traceable in an official store with an identified developer, public contractual documents and minimums written down as figures. As a supervised service, the answer is a different one: no regulator and no licence number appear on any official page. The layered analysis is on the page about whether it is trustworthy.
Is it regulated in Brazil?
No. On 4 October 2021 the CVM published an alert stating that Pro Trade LTD, Pocket Option and Gembell Limited had no authorisation to take on clients, and by Ato Declaratório CVM 19.121, of 28 September 2021, it ordered the immediate suspension of the circulation of any public offering to investors resident in Brazil, with a daily fine of one thousand reais in the event of non-compliance.
Whether that measure is still in force in 2026 could not be confirmed: the alert page records no revocation and no current status page could be read. This answer stays open because the source leaves it open. It is also worth recording what the alert does not say — it deals with an absence of authorisation and an irregular offering, not with fraud or crime, and this guide does not use those words. Nor does it use "regulated", "licensed" or "approved", which no source supports. The regulatory position, document by document, is set out on a page of its own.
Does it really pay?
The question has no verifiable answer in either direction, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Withdrawal screenshots do not prove a pattern, and neither do complaint screenshots. What exists are written commitments — the minimum, the currency, the period and verification — and the contractual causes that tend to jam a request. No primary source in this guide calls the platform a scam, and none proves consistent payment.
Said once, without drama: fixed-time contracts and CFDs can cause the loss of the money put in, and that is the origin of a good part of the complaints that circulate under the scam label.
Existing and documented, with no named regulator, no CVM authorisation and the operator itself excluding Brazil. The questions the source leaves open stay open here.
Getting started
Before any practical step comes the fact that defines it: the platform itself states that it does not provide service to residents of Brazil. What follows describes how the service works, not a route to joining it.
How opening an account works
The form sits on the official domain and asks for little at the start: an email, a password, a country and the account currency. The choice of currency carries more weight than it seems, because the Payment Policy requires the withdrawal to be made in the same currency as the corresponding deposit.
Identity verification comes afterwards and is a contractual requirement, not a formality: the Public Offer asks for documents proving identity and actual residence, and the Payment Policy asks for a full copy of all the pages of the document, further reserving the right to request payment receipts or proof of the card. It is worth remembering that the Public Offer carries a list of 32 prohibited nationalities, in addition to the countries notice on the home page — two documents, two lists, and both deserve reading.
What the demo shows
There is a demo account, with virtual money, free and able to be topped up according to the Google Play listing. No starting balance is published as a figure by the official pages, so any specific amount you find out there did not come from the source. It reproduces the screens and the mechanics of the expiries; what it does not reproduce is the pressure of risking your own money, and no result in it proves profitability.
Where to ask for help
Support happens through the internal channels of the site and the app. The only address published in an external source is the developer email that appears on the Google Play listing, and no response time is promised in an official document — what is written down are the verification and withdrawal-processing periods.
There is a ceiling worth knowing about before you need it: the contract is governed by the law of Costa Rica, with disputes in the courts there, there is no office in Brazil and, without CVM authorisation, there is no complaints channel with the Brazilian regulator. Keeping reference numbers, dates and screenshots of every stage is what helps most in any concrete case.
All the information, platform data and regulatory statements on this page were checked in September 2026 on Pocket Option's own site and in the alert published by the CVM in 2021; both the platform's terms and a regulator's position may change at any time. The Pocket Broker Brazil guide organises the other pages by task: access, the app, deposits, withdrawals, verification, complaints and alternatives.
A short sign-up, a demanding documentary verification, a free demo and support only through internal channels. With no office in Brazil and no channel at the CVM, the user's own record is what remains as proof.
Frequently asked questions
Are Pocket Broker and Pocket Option the same thing?
They are. "Pocket Option" is the brand name, published on the official site and on the Android app listing; "Pocket Broker" is the nickname created by the Brazilian public. There is no company registered under the second name, no second site, no parallel sign-up and no second app. Anyone who searches for one term and finds the other has arrived in the right place.
Does the platform accept clients from Brazil?
The operator itself says it does not. The notice published on the home page, the About Us page and the payment-methods page states that the site does not provide service to residents of the European Economic Area, the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Japan and Brazil. Add to that the absence of CVM authorisation and the 2021 order suspending public offerings. It is the most important fact on this page.
Is there an official app for the iPhone?
It could not be confirmed. The official site publishes no link to the App Store and no iOS listing could be verified, while several apps unconnected to the platform use similar names. For the iPhone, the verifiable surface is the browser version, published on the home page. On Android there is an official listing, under the package com.pocketoption.broker.
How long does a withdrawal take?
The two official documents diverge, so the correct thing is to read it as a range and not as a promise. The Public Offer speaks of up to 3 business days, extendable to 14. The Payment Policy speaks of up to 5 business days, with a bank transfer of 3 to 45 business days and electronic methods varying from seconds to days. The clock only starts after verification is completed.
Can you try it without depositing?
Yes. The platform offers a free demo account, with virtual money that can be topped up, described that way on the official Google Play listing. No starting balance is published as a figure, so any specific amount you see did not come from the official source. It is the only part of the product that can be examined with no financial exposure at all.
